Delete your Locumedico account
Use this page to delete your Locumedico account and associated personal data, or to request deletion if you no longer have the app.
1. Delete in the app (preferred)
If you still have access to Locumedico, start deletion there. This is the fastest path.
- Open the Locumedico app.
- Go to Profile → Delete account.
- Resolve any blockers shown (open duties, wallet escrow, withdrawals, disputes, or team leadership).
- Confirm with your password or Google, then type DELETE to submit.
2. Request deletion by email (no app)
If you cannot open the app, email us from the address registered on your Locumedico account: contact@locumedico.com.
Include your registered email and phone number so we can verify it is you. We will not delete an account on an unverified request. You may be asked to confirm identity before the request is processed.
3. What happens after you request deletion
- The account enters a 30-day grace period. You cannot log in during this window.
- You can restore the account during grace using the OTP restore flow offered at login (OTP is sent to the verified phone on the account).
- After the grace period, the account is permanently deleted / anonymised and cannot be recovered.
4. What is deleted
After the 30-day grace period we delete your Locumedico account and associated personal data, including:
- Profile name, phone, email, password, and Google sign-in link
- Profile photo
- KYC documents and identity photos
- Medical licence, registration, and other credential documents you uploaded
- Check-in and check-out photos
- Device tokens and session access
- Chat membership and similar personal account data
Wallet balances of ₹100 or more must be withdrawn first. Smaller leftover (“dust”) balances may be forfeited and are not refunded on restore. For how long we may need to hold limited records after closure (for example where the law requires it), see our Privacy Policy.
5. Things that can block deletion
Finish or resolve these before we can complete deletion:
- Pending wallet escrow or locked funds
- Wallet balance of ₹100 or more (withdraw first)
- A withdrawal still processing
- Open payment disputes
- Active job applications, duties, or team leadership
